LORIENT, France (AP) — Kylian Mbappé scored twice and provided an assist in a 4-1 win over Lorient on Sunday, putting Paris Saint-Germain on the verge of a record-extending 12th French league title.
Mbappé has now scored 42 goals in all competitions this season, including 21 in Ligue 1. He has also provided 18 assists, making him one of the most dangerous players in Europe.
Ousmane Dembélé also scored twice for PSG, while Mohamed Bamba scored a consolation goal for Lorient.
PSG now needs just one more win to clinch the title. They will have the chance to do so next weekend when they host Lens.
